The unity of opposites - Warsaw apartment arranged by Unicreations Studio

Pursuing the particular concept, thoughtful choice of materials and creative approach to the client’s needs - this, in short, is what describes the interior arrangement project implemented by Magda Stanescu, founder of a Rotterdam based interior design studio Unicreations.

Arranging a private apartment located in a charming area of Warsaw has been preceded by a search for a clear leitmotif. Magda’s choice was to let past and present fuse together so that the clean, modern look of the interior could be complemented by vintage elements, such as the original oak parquets and retained door carpentry.

The natural materials build an interesting contrast by taking minimal shapes. At the same time, vibrant greens and blues, Stanescu’s client’s favorite tones, correspond well with brown, black and white. It’s clear that every corner of the apartment has a story to tell and noo.ma's pieces gladly take place therein.

"What’s winning in working with noo.ma is their professional approach and responsiveness. I urgently needed samples to pick the Lekko’s colorway. I received precise information about available NCS-colors and the one I chose was a perfect match!"

- Magdalena Stanescu, founder of Unicreations

The effect of Stanescu’s efforts to sustain the ideal old-new duality of the arrangement is perfectly emphasized by Lekko Cabinet’s design. Its delighting union with the oak floors brings the room to a whole new level. This simple in form, yet multi-purpose piece pleases the eye with its amazing sliding doors made of locally sourced ornamented glass, inspired by works of Polish design masters.

In bedroom, which is painted in jade green, rounded forms and black details are a key theme. Tu Bedside Table with its UV hardened veneer top and damage resistant steel shelf, constitutes a superbly balanced and durable piece that immediately attracts the attention. As a clash of unique design and exceptionally light construction, Tu makes a perfect company for every bed in every style of bedroom.
