Design and production story of Met, Lekko & Snu furniture family!

Before launching Met Media Furniture, Lekko Cabinet and Snu Dresser we had to face lots of design and production challenges in order to make sure you will fully enjoy the experience of using our products.
Watch our story where our designers, Anna & Damian, share the insights of the process. Get to know the idea that stands behind our family of board furniture, the most challenging parts of the process, key design values of creating these products and so much more.

The idea that stands with us from the very beginning was to redesign the common idea of storage furniture having in mind the respect to their traditional functions, but also paying lots of attentions to today’s modern needs and aesthetics.

We've discovered that most of the available storage furniture are either massive, overwhelming forms, or well-designed, but impractical furniture with not enough storage space. That is why we’ve decided to design a family of board furniture which meets both of visual and functional criteria at the same time.

"We’ve added these beautiful CNC vertically milled fronts to get even more impression of lightness."

- Anna, product designer

"We’ve decided to design a family of board furniture which actually meets both of visual and functional criteria at the same time."

- Damian, product designer

Material choice was absolutely crucial for all the designs. We’ve decided to use milled fronts, powder coated steel & ornamented glass which was a popular material used on cabinets in most polish homes, really common in the 60’ and 70’.

Met Media Furniture, Snu Dresser, Lekko Cabinet were created because of the desire to achieve the most spacious, all-purpose and visually universal products so that they could blend into any space, but at the same time stand out because of its great design & craftsmanship.
